아이랑 좋아서 연장해수 걸국 일주일동안이나 머물렀어요. 와아~~ 위치 너무좋고요 ( 맛집들 가득, 쇼핑의 중심지, 경의선 숲길에서 걷구요, 롯데수퍼 앞이라 모든 요리 가능) 필요한 주방용품 다 있고요, 세탁기. 에어컨. TV. 공기청정기 다 아주 좋아요. 침대 매트리스가 편안하고 이불도 면느낌이 사각~하는 나 청결해~ 하고 있는, 너무도 좋은 숙소였어요.

2ROOM NEW OPEN [Yeonnam Wave House] Self-isolation

I liked the neighbourhood - it was quaint, with lots of cute shops and cafes/bars scattered around. It is about an 8-min walk to Hongik Univ Station and about a 15-min walk to Hongdae Shopping Street. One con is the lack of cleanliness of the place. When I first arrived, the apartment had many flies and bugs (luckily, the apartment had some bug spray and I killed at least 20 bugs). The bedroom floor was also dirty (they don’t clean the floor under the beds and it is filled with dust and other litter from previous guests). The bath towels provided had yellow stains on them and also kinda stunk so I would recommend using your own towel. Also, by the looks of the size of the apartment, there is no way that 8-10 people can stay comfortably (as indicated on the listing). I would estimate the maximum to be 4 pax (there are 2 queen-sized beds in a bedroom), 1 small toilet, 1 kitchenette and 1 dining room (with a dining table and 4 chairs). There is also a small sofa which can seat 2 pax at most. During my stay, I was also interrupted under very short notice (the host literally texted me to open the door and they were outside waiting already) by the host and some other man who said something about a leakage from the bathroom to the apartment downstairs and made some checks for repair. So just be aware that the apartment may require some maintenance here and there and your stay may be disrupted. Another thing of note.. I was under a quarantine order and the hotel I originally booked did not allow me to stay there and I had to check out at 11am. As such, I requested for an early check-in. However, please note that if you request for early check-in or late check-out, you will have to pay extra. Initially, it was indicated to me that the cost would be 15,000 KRW each which I paid but then the host asked for extra payment and I ended up paying about 60,000 KRW for early check-in at 1pm and late check-out at 1pm. I also made a mistake of missing my check-out time (this is admittedly my fault as I mistakenly thought the check-out time was 2pm) and I apologised to the host and explained that I was stuck in traffic and she simply said “It's the weekend, so of course the road is closed. You have to pay an extra fee.” I don’t think foreigners would know that on weekends, the road is closed in Seoul, at least I didn’t. So in the end, I checked out at 140pm (40 minutes late) and was asked to pay an additional 33,000 KRW. In total, I paid an additional 93,000 KRW on top of the standard accommodation cost (which was 772,800 KRW for 5 nights). The host also informed me that if I do not separate the trash / recyclables properly, I will need to pay extra. Essentially, be prepared to make extra payments for any additional requests or things that you may not be aware of as a foreigner and the host will not be sympathetic towards you at all. The price of the stay is also more expensive than the hotel I originally booked (i.e. Hotel28 Myeongdong) even though the stay at the hotel was much more comfortable with way better service and a convenient location in Myeongdong. For comparison, the apartment costed 772,800 KRW for 5 nights (about $170 per night) while a night at the hotel costed about $140. I would only recommend this place if you have no choice and are placed under quarantine as many places in Seoul don’t allow for quarantine stays. Personally, I will not choose to stay here the next time I am in Seoul.

숙소 위치도 너무 좋고, 근처에 배달음식도 매우 많아서.. 정말 좋았습니다 내부도 깔끔하고, 난방도 잘되고, 침구류도 매우 포근하더라구요. 집안에 청소기도 있어서 청소도 하고, 세탁기도 있고.. 정말 집처럼 편하게 지냈습니다. 입국자 자가격리 7일동안 매우편하게 지냈습니다. 선별진료소도 10여분 거리에 있어서 좋습니다. 호스트도 매우 친절해서 다음에 서울에서 숙박할일이 있으면, 또 이용하고 싶네요^^

원래 2박부터 가능한데 시스템오류로 1박예약이 가능해 여쭤보고1박 하고왔습니다. 장점과 단점을 말씀드릴게요 장점 1. 홍대입구역 6번출구에서 정말 30초입니다. 6번출구나 7번출구에서 바로 보여요. 2. 집이 예뻐서 사진찍기 좋을거같아요 3. 방음이 잘됩니다 4. 문의드리면 확인과 답변이 빨라서 감사했습니다 단점 1. 침실벽면과 거실벽이 시멘트 마감이에요. 호불호가 갈릴수있겠습니다. 오픈마감이라 시멘트 냄새가 많이났고 손으로 만져보니 먼지가 나왔어요. 밤새 자기가 좀 힘들었습니다. 21년 신축이라 그런듯요. 2. 침구에 정리되지않은 머리카락(2개정도)과 얼룩이 있었어요. 이 점은 사진으로 찍어뒀습니다. 3. 침실 2개있는 방의 화장실문이 고장났는지 잘 안열립니다. 짧은 1박이었지만 장점도 있고 단점도 있고, 이점은 알아서 참고하시길 바랍니다.
