Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to pay for WeCare Insurance?
No. WeHome covers the insurance premium on behalf of all qualifying hosts registered under the government special exception (실증특례) program. There is no additional cost to hosts.
Am I covered as an international guest?
Yes. All guests — whether domestic or international — are automatically covered for the duration of their confirmed stay through WeHome, from check-in to check-out.
How do I make a claim?
Contact WeHome’s customer support team as soon as an incident occurs. Our team will guide you through the claims process and liaise with the insurance provider on your behalf.
What incidents are NOT covered?
Intentional damage, pre-existing conditions, events outside the confirmed booking period, and incidents resulting from violation of WeHome’s terms of service are generally excluded. Please refer to the full policy document for details.
Does coverage apply to co-living (same-house) hosts?
Yes. Both non-resident hosts (외도민업) and co-living hosts who share the accommodation are eligible for WeCare protection under the same policy.
