What is WeCare Insurance?

A protection program for Wehome hosts registered under Korea’s ICT regulatory sandbox. Coverage applies automatically with platform registration.

Protection for bodily injury and property damage under the sandbox liability insurance framework.

Host protection

Wehome pays premiums for eligible hosts. No additional insurance fee is charged to hosts.

Guest safety

Once a booking is confirmed, both host and guest are covered for the stay period.

What is covered

Multi-layer protection for major risks during a Wehome stay. Final terms follow the insurance policy.

Accident liability

Up to ₩100M — Bodily injury and property damage from fire, collapse, explosion, and similar incidents.

Property damage

Up to ₩20M — Host property damage caused by guest negligence during the booking period.

Guest belongings

Up to ₩5M — Loss, theft, or damage to guest personal belongings during the stay.

Contact Wehome support at 1544-5665 immediately after an incident.

Are there exclusions?

Intentional damage, off-booking incidents, and terms-of-service violations may be excluded.

Does this apply to home-sharing hosts?

Yes. All certified Wehome host types are covered under the same policy framework.
