K-POPSTAY BUSAN 2026 — Guest Guide & Additional User Terms

Guest Application Closed

Thank you for the overwhelming response from ARMY guests worldwide. We will select global ARMY guests and match them with ARMY hosts and citizen hosts for homestay bookings. Selected guests will be notified by email. Thank you for your support.

[Preliminary note] This guide takes precedence over the Wehome Home-Sharing User Terms. Anything not addressed here is governed by Wehome’s User Terms.

Greeting & Introduction to K-POPSTAY BUSAN 2026

  • K-POPSTAY BUSAN 2026 is run by the City of Busan and the Wehome home-sharing platform, built on the participation of Busan’s ARMY and citizens. It is a project to connect global ARMY with Busan’s ARMY and residents, easing — at least in part — the accommodation difficulties global ARMY face, and fostering mutual exchange.
  • Busan City, Wehome, and the citizens are all taking part voluntarily.
  • In particular, K-POPSTAY BUSAN 2026 is about Busan’s ARMY and citizens stepping forward of their own accord to gladly open their homes for global BTS ARMY, without any compensation.
  • Matched global ARMY guests receive free accommodation (citizen and ARMY hosts).
  • As this is carried out on a tight schedule through everyone’s active cooperation, we ask ARMY to come with a spirit of cooperation, gratitude toward the hosts, and respect.
  • Because it is being organized under significant time constraints and to help as many ARMY as possible, there may be some shortcomings. We kindly ask for your generous understanding.
  • Wehome will keep improving K-POPSTAY going forward, working even harder to solve the accommodation challenges of global K-POP fans.

Eligibility, Accommodation Type, Reservation, Check-in & Benefits

  1. Free accommodation is offered first and foremost to global BTS ARMY. A stay is only possible once ARMY status is verified; otherwise, the booking may be canceled even after confirmation.
  2. To accommodate as many ARMY as possible, a living room — not only a regular bedroom — may be designated and provided as a room. In that case, the facility description will clearly state that it is a living room.
  3. Check-in and check-out times: Please confirm and observe the designated check-in/check-out times. However, where the host can adjust them, check-in/check-out may proceed flexibly.
  4. Deposit payment and refund (Busan Tourism Card provided):
    • The stay is entirely free, but for mutual trust a deposit of KRW 50,000 per guest is charged to a credit card. After check-in, this deposit is refunded in full as a Busan Tourism Card loaded with KRW 50,000.  (The card can be used like cash at affiliated merchants within Busan, but use at department stores, large shopping malls, etc. is restricted.)
    • If we are unable to provide the Busan Tourism Gift Card, your deposit will be automatically refunded to your original payment method after your stay.
  5. If, after the ARMY guest and citizen host have confirmed, the stay does not proceed, the deposit will not be refunded.
  6. Welcome Home Wehome gift bag: Led by Wehome, free gift bags are provided to the first 100 guests on a first-come, first-served basis by application order. We would be grateful if you would hold gratitude toward the City of Busan and Genabelle, who sponsored the preparation of the Wehome gift bags.
  7. Personal items and travel to the accommodation: Please bring your own toiletries, and after the concert ends you must make your own way to your accommodation.
  8. Access restriction and no passcode sharing: Only pre-matched guests may enter the accommodation. For security, entry information such as the front-door passcode must never be shared with anyone else.

Accommodation Rules & Etiquette (House Rules)

  1. Homestay precautions (protecting belongings & mutual respect): This is a treasured space where a Busan citizen actually lives
. Bringing in flammable materials is prohibited, and you must not open or use the host’s private spaces or belongings without permission. Also, when sharing the accommodation with other ARMY (ARMY), please be considerate and respectful of one another.

  2. Absolutely no smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited at all times inside the accommodation and within the building.

  3. No cooking: As a rule, use of the kitchen and cooking equipment is not allowed. (Exceptions are permitted only where the host has specifically given permission by text message.)

  4. No drinking & noise awareness: Drinking alcohol inside the accommodation is strictly prohibited, and please absolutely refrain from excessive noise or singing/merrymaking that could disturb the neighbors.

  5. Damage to facilities & liability: If you damage bedding, fixtures, or other items provided in the accommodation, the responsibility for restoration and compensation lies with the guest.

  6. Protection of personal information & confidentiality: The host’s contact details and detailed accommodation information you learn in order to communicate with the host must be thoroughly protected as personal information and must never be leaked externally or shared on social media or elsewhere.

  7. Immediate eviction upon rule violation: If you fail to observe the accommodation rules above, the host may immediately remove you from the accommodation, so please take particular care.

Check-out & Waste Separation/Recycling

Tidying up and waste separation before check-out: Before checking out, please return everything you used to its place and clean and tidy up thoroughly. In particular, you must separate and sort your waste.

<Recycling guide>

  • General waste: Please sort non-recyclable waste as general waste.
  • Recyclables: Separate by type — plastics, cans/scrap metal, glass bottles, paper, and vinyl/plastic film — and dispose of them in the designated location or recycling bins.
  • Food waste: Drain the moisture so it does not mix with general waste, then collect it separately in a dedicated food-waste bin or bag.
  • (※ Disposal methods may differ by accommodation, so if the host has separately provided a location or method, please follow that first.)
