Kenneth was an extremely warm host. Despite me not being able to meet him this time, he was responsive throughout my trip and any time which I truly appreciate. I personally loved the neighbourhood and area as it is comfortable and peaceful unlike the mainstream areas. It is also near to all the places to visit so travelling around was not difficult. His house was spotless and clean, the amenities and instructions on how to use them was very clear! Staying at his place made me felt like a local and I would definitely book his place again for my next return. It is suitable for a group of friends or family stay. He provided food recommendations that were all walking distance and yummy! He also gave good advice especially during the cold season and made us feel at home. There is convenient stores and shops nearby too! Checking in was a breeze as I had arrived really early and he had his nephew to welcome me. A lady came to send us off when we left too! I appreciate the kindness!

My stay at Kenneth's 숙소 was outstanding. From the start, Kenneth was an exceptional host, keeping up seamless communication before, during, and after our visit, making us feel truly welcome and well-cared-for. The accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way—spotlessly clean, with all amenities thoughtfully provided, and all appliances in perfect working condition. Kenneth clearly takes pride in maintaining the home, and it shows. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the convenience of having a washing machine and dryer made our stay even better. The house itself is charming and well-located, just a short walk to Gongdeok Station, giving easy access to multiple subway lines and making it convenient to explore many neighborhoods. The area is vibrant, with an array of excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. I would wholeheartedly recommend this 숙소 to anyone visiting Seoul. We felt at home the entire time and would happily stay here again!

We had an excellent stay! Kenneth was very friendly and responsive. He also picked us up and dropped us off at the station, which was very appreciated, especially when we had more bags leaving Seoul! The house was spotless, and it had great amenities. Kenneth put a lot of thought into this and everything you could ever need for a short (or even longer-term stay) was there . He even got a high chair for us! There are lots of great restaurants nearby, which made it very convenient for us as we have two young children. I would highly recommend a stay here!

This was undoubtedly the best 숙소 I have stayed at. It was super convenient, a very quaint interior and all the amenities were incredible. I loved the bedsheets and blanket which were also so soft and lovely to sleep in. I had wonderful stay in preparation for my wedding and will definitely return.

Kenneth (owner) is so nice!!! He met us at the station and showed us where to go eat. Location is great, mins away from restaurants, subway and stores. The place is clean, safe and quiet. Definitely would stay here again next time.

Absolutely phenomenal stay! The property was beautifully decorated, spotless, and equipped with all amenities. The location was perfect, with easy access to attractions and dining. The host was incredibly responsive and provided great recommendations. This stay exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend it.

My words can’t express how thankful I am for Kenneth. He treated us not just like tenants but like we were his family. We asked him for many things during our stay and he always delivered without making us feel bad. His home was in perfect condition - it was clean and included everything we needed. It’s also perfectly located - close to the market, bus stop, train station and local restaurants. Kenneth is also an expert on Seoul and can make great recommendations on restaurants, sights to see, etc., as well as give you extensive information on Korea’s history. He is the perfect host and I would not hesitate to stay again at any of his homes and I trust him to take care of any of my own friends and family. 5 stars is not enough!!!

The house owner is very nice, and he even offered to pick us up at Seoul Station. The house is 100% clean and comfortable to live in, easy transportation, nice food, great spot and everything. If you ever come to Seoul, choose The Seoul House.

I have been using this platform for over a decade and never have I ever encountered a host like Kenneth. Every detail in the house was thought to benefit the traveler. He not only was responsive, helpful and proactive, he goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Upon our arrival he left out some snacks, beverages, teas and plenty of coffee beans for us to enjoy throughout our stay. Bathroom was packed with tp and all the toiletries needed, including toothpaste and new toothbrushes. Everything was clean and made for a very pleasant stay. The only downside of this place was the walk uphill to get to the house, but a couple of buses prove to be the solution around that too. The neighborhood has lots of eateries and Kenneth helps you navigate them pointing out the best spots. The place is calm and pretty quiet, feels very safe and we even had packages delivered to the door when we were out and nothing got lost/stolen. I recommend this listing very strongly!!!

We stayed at Kenneth’s beautiful 숙소 for our week vacation in Seoul. The 숙소 was located in a perfect location with easy walking distance to the rail system. As well as cafes and restaurants. The 숙소 had everything you could possibly need, even universal outlets to fit any plug in. Kenneth was an absolutely incredible host, who responds quickly and will kindly go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. We would honestly 100% recommend this 숙소. You cannot go wrong staying here.

해외 주재원 생활중 가족과 한국방문하게 되어 1주일간 머무르게 되었습니다. 초등학생 아이 둘 포함 4인가족이 머물기에 충분히 넓었고, 취사용 도구들도 부족함 없이 마련되어 있었습니다. 특히 100년된 한옥을 리모델링한 것으로, 천장은 아름다운 한옥 지붕 모양이 남아 있었고, 전체적으로 새집처럼 깨끗했습니다.

호스트께서는 너무 천절하시고, 바로바로 응답해 주셨고, 근처 맛집들을 추천해주셔서 일주일간 맛있는 음식들을 마음껏 즐길 수 있었습니다. 체크인시에는 컵라면, 우유, 맥주등도 제공해 주셨습니다.

위치는 공덕역 도보 6분 거리로, 5, 6호선과 공항철도 및 버스 이용이 편했고, 역근처에 맛집들이 몰려있었습니다.

전반적으로 기대이상의 완벽한 숙소로, 기회가 되면 꼭 다시 머물고 싶습니다.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kenneth's apartment in Seoul, and it was an exceptional experience. The apartment itself was thoughtfully arranged and came equipped with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. From essentials like coffee and tea to handy appliances such as a rice cooker, washing machine, TV, and a water dispenser, everything was provided to ensure a home-like environment. What truly set this stay apart, however, was Kenneth's extraordinary hospitality. He was not just a host, but also a guide to the Korean culture. Kenneth was always ready to answer my questions, share insights about the local lifestyle, and recommend dining spots that catered to my dietary preferences. His presence at both check-in and check-out added a personal touch that made the experience more welcoming. His kindness and attention to detail played a big part in making my trip memorable. I highly recommend this place.

This was a very last minute trip to Seoul and we were v lucky to be able to booked Kenneth’s accommodation. Host went above and beyond in many ways:
1) booking the cab to/from airport in advance for us
2) greeting us at his accommodation and went thru all the instructions for appliances with us
3) fixed the tv connection when it went wonky
4) cleared our rubbish 5) provided recommendations of places to go and maps, screenshots etc 6) BROUGHT US TO KBS FOR A TOUR and took care of my kid so well that she still talks about him ? The house is cozy and fits up to 4 comfortably. Ken did so many thoughtful things that we really couldn’t thank him enough 1) provided kids bathing needs 2) universal plugs
3) apple juice and other food and snacks 4) toothbrushes, towels We are truly happy with our stay and this listing deserves a 100/100

Kenneth was a great host. He picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the 숙소 and was very flexible with check-in and check-out times. The house itself is nice, clean, quiet, exactly as shown in photos. Kenneth went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and we had a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend.

Kenneth was a great host and the 숙소 matched the listing description accurately. I stayed for two weeks and it was perfect for our family: three adults and one toddler. Kenneth went above and beyond from ordering a taxi service with a carseat, giving us clear instructions with videos and photos, and greeting us at check in for a walkthrough. Kenneth prepared the place with every small thing you could think of. To name a few, he prepared the place with high chair and kid friendly dishes for our little one, all kitchen and bath items you can think of so you can feel right at home and not worry about purchasing on your own. Kenneth is an extremely thoughtful host and we were so lucky! The 숙소 was only about 5-7min from the gongduk subway station, and even straight shot from the airport shuttle. It was exactly as photographed, newly renovated and clean. It was spacious and comfortable for four and I would definitely stay here again!

Kenneth is almost certainly the best 숙소 host/super-host my wife and I have had the pleasure of dealing with. He was great about communicating and providing information and assistance. We arrived in Seoul a few days prior to our stay at Kenneth's place and were staying nearby. Kenneth kindly offered to pick us up with our luggage in his car and transport us to his place which also meant an early check in. He told us being an 숙소 (super)host was his full time job and he took pride in providing great service to his guests. At check out, Kenneth told us he doesn't book his place on 숙소 the day of/after check out to allow him to thoroughly clean and sanitize the place before the next guest. This also allows him to offer late check out if needed/desired. We accepted his offer of a late check out. He appeared prior to our new check out time and offered to give us and our luggage another ride rather than call a taxi (very much appreciated!). Highly recommended host and place.

My family and I stayed at Kenneth's place for three weeks while visiting my wife's family in Mapo, Seoul. The place was absolutely perfect for us and Kenneth was an amazing host. Kenneth's place is a traditional home that has been beautifully updated with modern amenities and has tons of charm. With two kids that love to jump around, this home was much better for us than the typical Korean high-rise apartment. It is within easy walking distance to the excellent restaurants of Mapo and to subway and bus lines to take you to the sights of Seoul. Kenneth was outstanding and is the most considerate host we've ever had in our years of using 숙소. He met us upon arrival and even helped us haul our luggage inside. He was extremely responsive to any questions we had and always made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Kenneth's place was so perfect for us that my wife is already talking about how we need to stay there next time we visit her family in Seoul! Thanks Ken!

La mejor opcion que hay en Seoul..... Kenneth es por mucho el mejor anfitrion que hemos conocido en todos los 숙소 que hemos usado.... facil comunicación, muchisimas recomendaciones, siempre contesta para dudas o preguntas, muy amable y educado..... la casa esta ubicada a 1 minuto de una avenida donde puedes tomar un taxi o autobus y a solo 5 minutos del subway. Un supermarket esta a solo 4 minutos caminando.....adicional la casa tiene absolutamente TODO lo que necesitas para tu estancia y el lugar es muy limpio y ordenado Le daria muchas mas ese doy 5 estrellas de calificacion porque no es posible dar mas estrellas de calificacion, pero no es posible asi que doy 5 estrellas.

Kenneth was a generous and responsive host who went above and beyond to make us welcome. The place is great and clean and was perfect for our needs (a group of four visiting for a week).

The new place is really clean, cozy, and very convenient. It has all the things that you need! The appliances are new and top of the line. Really, a home away from home.
The kitchen is ready for use and the washer and dryer were appreciated. Also: Wi-Fi works great. For winter travelers, the heated floor kept the place warm and was a welcome break from the cold winter weather.

The location is very accessible. There are subway and bus stations nearby. There's also an e-mart and market place with really good food!

Kenneth Kim was a superb host who went above and beyond, meeting us at the subway when we arrived and using his vehicle to take us to our next destination when we checked out. He left some fresh fruit for us when we checked in and also spent time going over the Seoul map with us at check in to make sure we knew how to get around and where we were going.
He is a very hospitable and attentive host. He's very fast to respond to our messages and he suggested a lot of good restaurants!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at The Seoul House(Mapo) and it made our visit to Korea very memorable. Thank you Kenneth!
