The accommodation was in great condition and the location was excellent. I'd love to come back next time.
The stay was fine. Like most of the Korean 숙소’s, it was small. We liked the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths for a family of 4. Host was very nice and accommodating. She was very responsive to our questions and answered them very quickly. Only thing is for a person 6 ft or taller, the bathrooms were very small and shower as well. The sink was located by the toilet where I was always concerned I would bang my head on the sink to sit down. Also, the bedroom I used had the AC unit blowing cold air right to my face. I got a little sick with a lot of coughing because of the direct cold breeze. If she could maybe rearrange the bed a different direction, it would be a bit better? Either way, a great host, good location, and enough space for a family of 4.
Before we even checked in , the host was always communicating with me and answered any questions I had. She gave clear instructions along with pictures that made finding the place and checking in very easy. Even after check-in, she always responded in a quick manner. My daughter got sick on the trip. And she even gave a recommendation to a nearby clinic and showed directions and pictures of how to get there. The accommodation was very spacious and clean and made it very comfortable to spend a week in Korea with a big family. I feel like having a good host is just as important as the accommodation. I'm happy that we chose this place and will definitely stay again in the future.
This place was conveniently located just behind the main Gangnam street. There are lots of convenience stores, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Uber was able to easily locate this place and pick us up. I loved that it’s on the main floor so no stairs. I only give it a lower rating because the washrooms are extremely small. A typical 5’5” or 160cm tall person will need to sit at an angle on the toilet to not hit the washroom sink. One shower has a built around glass stall and the other shower has no stalls and water is sprayed all over the toilet and washroom by the end of your shower. There is a very musty smell in the apartment. I didn’t realize it until the end that we were sleeping in moldy duvet covers and pillow cases. Please check your duvet covers and pillow cases for mold upon your arrival because we didn’t realize it until the end and the host blamed the stains on us saying we dyed our hair and left the stains. This is complete not true. For your sake, take pictures!
