The Seoul House (Mapo) is a 100-year-old Hanok (Korean traditional house) which is renovated to modern style of Hanok in a quiet and safe residential area.

Our stay at Kenneth's Seoul apartment was a very positive experience. The property provided a home-like environment with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. In addition to being an excellent host, Kenneth also acted as our guide into Korean culture, providing insight into local life and restaurant recommendations. The accommodation was clean and quiet, and was very close to Gongdeok subway station, providing good access to other attractions in Seoul. While working overseas, I visited Korea with my family and stayed there for a week. It was spacious enough for a family of four, including two elementary school children, and there was no shortage of cooking utensils. In particular, it was a remodeled 100-year-old Hanok, so the ceiling still had the beautiful shape of the Hanok roof, and it was clean as if it were a new house. The host was so kind and responded right away, and recommended nearby restaurants, so I was able to enjoy delicious food to my heart's content for a week. When I checked in, they also provided cup ramen, milk, and beer. The location was a 6-minute walk from Gongdeok Station, so it was convenient to use Lines 5 and 6, the airport railroad, and buses, and there were many restaurants near the station. Overall, it was a perfect accommodation that exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay there again if I had the chance.
Kenneth was a generous and responsive host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The place is great and clean, and it was perfect for our needs (a group of four visiting for a week).
The new place is really clean, cozy, and very convenient. It has everything you need! The appliances are new and top-of-the-line. Truly, a home away from home.
The kitchen is ready for use, and the washer and dryer were much appreciated. Also: the Wi-Fi works great. For winter travelers, the heated floor kept the place warm and was a welcome respite from the cold winter weather.
The location is very accessible. There are subway and bus stations nearby. There's also an e-mart and a marketplace with really good food!
Kenneth Kim was a superb host who went above and beyond, meeting us at the subway when we arrived and using his vehicle to take us to our next destination when we checked out. He left some fresh fruit for us when we checked in and also spent time going over the Seoul map with us at check-in to make sure we knew how to get around and where we were going.
He is a very hospitable and attentive host. He's very quick to respond to our messages and he suggested a lot of good restaurants!
