The Seoul House is a private house with a small patio. We are located in a residential area and guests use the whole house by themselves. We are legally approved by the government.

Despite Corona 19 pandemic, I was staying comfortably like my home. I never imagined that there would be such a nice house in the alley of Yeongdeungpo. The station is very close, and most of all, it is located near the downtown area with Times Square as the center, so all things to see, eat, and play are satisfying. The accommodation itself is satisfactory, so the kind host's courtesy and consideration is rather a bonus. If I had more time, I would've lived even longer here than two weeks. Best recommended!
코로나19로 불안한 시기지만 내 집처럼 편안하게 지내다 갑니다. 영등포 골목에 이런 멋진 집이 있을 줄이라고는 상상하지 못했네요. 역도 무척 가깝고 무엇보다 타임스퀘어를 중심으로 번화가 지척에 자리잡고 있어 볼거리, 먹거리, 놀거리 모두 만족스럽습니다. 숙소 자체가 만족스러워서 친절한 호스트님의 호의와 배려는 오히려 덤이네요. 시간만 된다면 2주가 아니라 한달이라도 더 머물고 싶은 숙소입니다. 강추!Nov 2020 -

숙소가 매우 깨끗하고 지내기에 불편한 없이 여러 편의 시설이 잘 갖추어져 있어서 매우 좋았습니다.
TV 채널 및 여러 케이블 채널까지 나와서 더 좋았습니다.
숙소 위치도 영등포 역에서 도보 3분거리로 매우 가까웠으며, 이마트, CGV, 타임스퀘어, 신세계백화점, 롯데백화점, 먹자 골목이 근처에 있어서 더욱 좋았습니다.
음식배달과 택배 배달도 문제 없이 잘 되었습니다.
무엇보다 호스트님이 아주 친절하시고, 체크인부터 체크아웃 까지 세심하게 챙겨주셔서 내 집 처럼 편하게 지낼 수 있었습니다. 다른 분들께 추천 드립니다.Nov 2020 -

친절하게 도와주신 주인장 덕택에 2주간의 자가격리, 2주간 자유여행 시간을 편하게 보냈습니다. 영등포역 전철까지 걸어서 3분거리라 교통이 매우 편리한 편이고, 이마트, 롯데백화점, 신세계백화점이 가깝게 있으며, 인근에 맛집들도 많아 즐거운 쇼핑, 식사가 되었습니다. 집안에 주방도구들도 잘 갖춰져 있어 식사준비가 쉬웠고, 트렌디한 가구들이 있어 분위기가 참 좋았습니다. 그리고 호텔수준 이상으로 치약,치솔,수건 등 욕실용품들이 꼼꼼하게 구비되어 있어서 사용이 편리했고, 커피/차,사탕,조미료들도 잘 준비되어 있어서 잘 썻습니다. 다음에 다시 한번 숙박할 기획가 있기를...

해외 주재원 생활중 가족과 한국방문하게 되어 1주일간 머무르게 되었습니다. 초등학생 아이 둘 포함 4인가족이 머물기에 충분히 넓었고, 취사용 도구들도 부족함 없이 마련되어 있었습니다. 특히 100년된 한옥을 리모델링한 것으로, 천장은 아름다운 한옥 지붕 모양이 남아 있었고, 전체적으로 새집처럼 깨끗했습니다.
호스트께서는 너무 천절하시고, 바로바로 응답해 주셨고, 근처 맛집들을 추천해주셔서 일주일간 맛있는 음식들을 마음껏 즐길 수 있었습니다. 체크인시에는 컵라면, 우유, 맥주등도 제공해 주셨습니다.
위치는 공덕역 도보 6분 거리로, 5, 6호선과 공항철도 및 버스 이용이 편했고, 역근처에 맛집들이 몰려있었습니다.

Kenneth was a generous and responsive host who went above and beyond to make us welcome. The place is great and clean and was perfect for our needs (a group of four visiting for a week).
The new place is really clean, cozy, and very convenient. It has all the things that you need! The appliances are new and top of the line. Really, a home away from home.
The kitchen is ready for use and the washer and dryer were appreciated. Also: Wi-Fi works great. For winter travelers, the heated floor kept the place warm and was a welcome break from the cold winter weather.
The location is very accessible. There are subway and bus stations nearby. There's also an e-mart and market place with really good food!
Kenneth Kim was a superb host who went above and beyond, meeting us at the subway when we arrived and using his vehicle to take us to our next destination when we checked out. He left some fresh fruit for us when we checked in and also spent time going over the Seoul map with us at check in to make sure we knew how to get around and where we were going.
He is a very hospitable and attentive host. He's very fast to respond to our messages and he suggested a lot of good restaurants!
We cannot say enough good things about our stay at The Seoul House(Mapo) and it made our visit to Korea very memorable. Thank you Kenneth!Jan 2023
